We are pleased to announce that we will be joined on 4th January by Louise Spurdle, who is based in Chester and will be available to service clients throughout the North West of the country.
Louise began her career in costs began after completing her LPC course in 2008, working for various specialist costs firms in the North West. She joins us from the costs department of Hill Dickinson in Liverpool, and will be available for -
- Drafting high value Bills of Costs in all types of claim including commercial, clinical negligence and shipping matters
- Drafting Precedent H Costs Budgets
- Negotiating settlement of costs in both Claimant and Defendant matters
- Drafting Points of Dispute, Points of Reply and Statements of Costs for hearings
- Undertaking advocacy at assessment and application hearings
- Dealing with claims for assessment under s.70 Solicitors Act 1974
